Tramp Stamps, Millennials, and the Road to Cancer

In my youth, a tattoo was only seen on military men or bikers.  Otherwise it was something that was covered up.  One lady described it as her permanent reminder of temporary insanity. The poor choices made with the aid of an altered state of mind.  The label is or was a “tramp stamp”.  Today, it amazes me the number of individuals with tattoos.  Thirty eight percent of the Millennials (those born after 1980) (full report)have tattoos, compared with 32% of Generation X (1965-1980) and 15% of Baby Boomers(1946-1964).  Ironically, Millennials are more conscious of social issues, organic food, conservation via recycling, and healthful exercise.  For some a tattoo may be a way of feeling special, or an expression of individuality, devotion, or commemoration.

Most of the health focus is on the self-imposed cleanliness of the operator, equipment and facility.  The famous last words from someone you don’t know…“trust me”.  Death by 1000 puncture wounds via the magical manifestation of hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV, Epstein Barr Virus, tetanus, tuberculosis or any other imaginable blood born infectious disease?  While the initial and post tattoo pain is real, the other death by 1000 cuts is the slow un-noticed embracing of change with unwanted consequences that impact our heath.  The tattoo is nothing short of a future health risk.

The first rule of health is to avoid toxic material.  Few know the composition of tattoo ink that is no doubt toxic material foreign to the body.  So we inject toxic material into the skin.  The ink goes into the cell.  The impregnation of the cell is the fourth stage of disease.  The fifth stage is degeneration of the cell and the sixth is cancer.

The body has mechanisms to remove toxins from the body, which means the material may travel thru lymph fluid or blood to end up anywhere.  It is possible that the liver may not be able to process such chemicals, especially if viruses, nutrients, drugs or alcohol compromises it.  This means the toxin must be deposited in fat or connective tissue for storage.  This is the creation of a disease state that will never be connected to acts of youth.  Do we really need a more toxic personal environment?

Bach Flower Remedies

The groom tried to lead the horse toward the ring at a weekend show.  The animal reared continuously and tried to strike his attendant.  They went back to the barn.  What’s wrong with the horse?  “He was afraid and his behavior was to escape.”  I mentioned this but few believed me.  “That horse is just mean!”  Well, let’s try something.  I walked over to the horse, lifted his lip and sprayed Rescue Remedy on his gums.  He curled his lip.  One minute later, one more dose.  “How long will it take to work?”  “If it is going to work, it has already happened.  Go ahead and lead him to the ring.”  Everyone was amazed as the groom led the horse, now a perfect gentleman.

Rescue Remedy is the famous Bach Flower Remedy for stress, panic, anxiety or fear.  It is available in drops, sprays, cream, and pastilles (lozenges).  There is also a Rescue Remedy for children and pets.

Originated by Dr. Edward Bach (1886-1936), whom thought illness, was a result of “a contradiction between the purpose of the soul and the personality’s point of view.”  The remedies are made to address the emotional aspects of one’s health.  Dr. Bach said, “Disease will never be cured or eradicated by present materialistic methods, for the simple reason that disease in its origin is not material…Disease is in essence the result of conflict between the Soul and Mind and will never be eradicated except by spiritual and mental effort”.

If you want to take it a step further there are 38 individual remedies each with different uses.  Of the 38 remedies there are seven groups that include:
p     Fear
p     Uncertainty
p     Insufficient Interest in Present Circumstances
p     Loneliness
p     Over-sensitive to Influence and Ideas
p     Despondency of Despair
p     Over-care for Welfare of Others

You can custom mix your own unique blend for yourself.  Simply read the descriptions and pick the top 3 to 5 remedies that fit your situation.  For some, dosing 1 to 4 times daily will bring a sense of balance.

Underlying Cause of Disease

We are creatures of comfort.  If we are cold we may put on a coat or change the thermostat.  If you have some “dis-ease”, discomfort or symptom that is unpleasant you may seek help.  If you have a headache you may take an aspirin.  Aspirin was one of the first modern herb/drug products made from willow bark.  We are really a drug-orientated culture.  Is it wrong to take an occasional aspirin?  No but the key word here is occasional.

What was the cause of your headache?  It could be dehydration, constipation, stress, liver dysfunction, or hormone imbalance.  Any common symptom can have a variety of causes.  Conversely, any cause of disease, such as a toxin can display a different symptom in any given person.  The perfect example of this is all of the possible side effects a given drug can exhibit in a group of people.  Another great example is the many “natural” products that are multi-level marketed that make so many claims to “cure” this or that.  What works for one may not work for another!

The body’s first mechanism to eliminate a toxin is excretion.  Your nose runs, you vomit, you get diarrhea, or you sweat.  Even a woman’s monthly cycle could be part of this process.  Taking a drug makes the symptom go away by suppressing the signal, but it does not help eliminate the original reason for the problem.

Many drug therapies are started to compensate for lack of basic health such as good hydration, bowel function, and diet.  Unrecognized food allergies can be a major source of revenue for pharmaceutical companies.  The grains of the food pyramid are emerging as a major health risk for many.  Especially of you have an “O” blood type.

The body is created with the ability to heal.  Unfortunately, there can be roadblocks to such healing.  Many roadblocks are self-induced.  Other roadblocks may include toxic substances such as pesticides, herbicides, heavy metals, and over treatment with drugs and “natural” products.

Excess supplementation could also put things out of balance.  Too little calcium can contribute to osteoporosis.  In the book, “The Reverse Effect”, too much calcium without the proper amount of magnesium can cause osteoporosis.  Balance is the key.
